Many people think we are sponsored and run by Franklin Township. We are not. Franklin Township Soccer Club is run completely by volunteers.
We always need volunteers, especially coaches.

Head Coach: No experience necessary! You will be given an equipment bag and have weekly practice lessons emailed to you. Organize your team at practices and field positions during games. Encourage good sportsmanship while teaching the rules and positions of soccer. Coordinate with the assistant coaches to work on drills and teamwork.
Assistant Coach: No experience necessary! Helps the Head Coach and takes the lead if the head coach is not available.
Team Manager/Parent: Coordinate with the coaches to help the team. Responsibilities may include: gathering medical forms to give to the head coach, checking the team mailbox, organize a snack schedule, handing out picture forms and organize a end of season party.
Set up: 8am - 9am every Saturday during the season: $50 work bond for 2hrs in this position. Help get the game day started. Place cones in the parking lot, put out the tables/chairs for the information and referee tables, signs, lost and found bin, cleats on the fence for the free exchange, flags and stake buckets for fields and garbage pails.
Information Table: Help assist families find the correct field, game schedules, volunteer sign up, uniform inquiries, pick up extra forms: medical, pictures, incident reports, help answer general questions. There will be board members (individuals in yellow shirts) around to assist the volunteers that sign up for this position.
Take down: $50 work bond for 2hrs in this position
- SGS: 12:45pm - 1:45pm Put everything back into the shed.
Field Prep: This is done one or two Saturdays before the season starts to help organize the shed and get the fields ready.

Weekly Evening Opportunity:
Field Lining: Fields must be repainted on a weekly basis. This is an opportunity that available in the evenings during the week. Help keep the fields in good shape throughout the season. For more information on this wonderful evening opportunity, please contact our Field Liner Manager at
[email protected] Volunteering: Work Bond and Late Fee Refunds
You can help in many ways! Coaching, team parents, field lining, field prep, concessions, information desk, set up and take down. In our Rec Division; coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, and team parents who have children that play in the club will automatically have their $50 work bond refunded. You will be paid in cash at the field after the 3rd week of the season, and the Work Bond Coordinator will notify you via email of when (date and time) the refund payment will be made. Any family who completes a minimum of 2 hours of volunteering with Rec. will have their bond returned. If your family paid a late fee, you must volunteer an additional 4 hours with Rec. during that season for a total of 6 hours in order to receive both the $50 work bond and the $100 late fee refunded.
Work Bonds to be returned are first approved by the Work Bond Coordinator ([email protected]). Refunds are paid in cash or check by our Treasurer ([email protected]).
